HOW do you get people to comment?

      Hi...

I'm at a loss, I'd love to know what people think, it's fascinating to get inside other minds, because they come from a different perspective than mine.

Thus far, I've opened several forum topics here, and nobody so far has made any comments... and I really, truly would enjoy it if you would take just a moment or two and let us know how YOU feel about some of the topics OR if you would like to see something different, or even start a thread of your own.

Seriously, I'd love to have some input - it helps me grow and you never know what amazing things can spawn from the simple sharing of information with one another.

I will definitely look forward to hearing from everyone...

Have a peaceful rest of the week,

Donna

A VERY Cool Membership Script I Discovered

Those who know of Marvin Haycock (a very savvy Aussie guy) already know that he's an 'over-deliverer' in the internet marketing arena.

I've been a customer of his for quite some time, and he's never ever disappointed me. He goes that 'extra mile' no matter what I've needed from him, and I sit back in awe.

His latest creation is very cool - it's a viral membership script, and it's much more affordable than most of them out there now... with tons of nice features (like you don't pay more to install on more than one domain, for example) and it's easy to set up and customize to your heart's desire.

Check out VMS: http://stepbysteptoriches.com/getvms/

Let me know your thoughts on it!

I also reviewed it over at my other site http://wecommend.com if you want more in-depth info or just go see it for yourself!

Have a super day,
Donna

Flashing Avatars, Moving Banners, etc

I'm highly curious if it's only me and my aging eyes that are disturbed by movement in the periphery of a web page or if others also feel the same way?

I dislike reading websites & even forum posts containing those flash-based, or animated gif based avatars wiggling and distracting my peripheral vision. I've gone so far as to open notepad and shrink it down just to cover the movement up. (Yeah, I know...) ;-)

Flashing banners, flash advertisements and larger wiggling, flashing, brightly colored moving distractions are even worse. Yeah, I do the same thing, cover them up so I can read the page content in peace.

If it's just me and not another living soul, then Granny will not rant about it anymore. But if there are others, then advertisers, and webmasters might wish to reconsider how many of those annoying, distracting things they add to their pages.

Some websites are so obnoxious that I just have to leave because I can't read their content with all that 'glittery madness' going on above, on both sides of AND below what I'm trying to read.

Ok, nuff sed,

Donna :-)

Welcome to DeadEasyWow.com

This site has been a dream to set up with WebAPP - highly recommended if you are looking for a cool CMS that has lots of capabilities, but ONLY get it from http://Web-APP.net and no place else.

(Why? Because there were some miscreants and evil minded folks who created some alternate BAD, NASTY versions of the script to be cruel so ONLY download WebAPP from their official website and you'll always be fine.)

You have the ability within ONE portal script to have content, announcements, articles, forums, links, rotating banners, AdSense, downloads, instant messaging, palm pilot view, gallery creation and tons more cool features. Plus, they are continually developing it and making it better and better all the time!

I haven't even gotten to the extras and plugins yet.

I just love this CMS script - discovered it November 25 and installed it the same day. Had a little help from On at the web-app.net site and it was MUCH appreciated.

I can't wait to see the new templates they're coming out with very soon. This version (1.0) JUST came out Nov 25th... so it's very cool to try it out.

I think you'll be really impressed with it.

Warmly,

Donna Maher
